CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Bucknell trailed Holy Cross 36-27 at the half but made a second half comeback to remain as the only perfect in League play, capturing a 58-51 victory over the Crusaders in Worcester on Saturday afternoon. Meanwhile, Lafayette hosted Boston University in a battle of the two 0-3 teams in League play, with the Leopards earning a convincing 71-56 win. Army West Point, American, and Navy also added wins on Saturday.

*Army West Point/Loyola Maryland - The Greyhounds jumped out to a 3-0 lead, but seniors Kelsey Minato and Jean Parker teamed up to score 13-straight points for a ten-point lead, 13-3 ... It was a lead the Black Knights would not relinquish, as they went on to win 70-37 at Christl Arena Saturday afternoon ... Army limited Loyola to single digits in three periods, while the Black Knights scored 25 and 26 points in the first and fourth quarters respectively ... The Greyhounds shot 30.2 percentage from the field but were limited to only three attempts beyond the arc with none being converted ... Army was led by Minato, who netted 23 points and posted three steals ... Classmates Parker and Aimee Oertner each grabbed eight rebounds and chipped in six points ... Loyola was led by sophomore Bri Betz-White with six points and freshman Courtney Vannoy, who netted five points and totaled eight rebounds.
*Bucknell/Holy Cross - The Crusaders pulled out to an 11-point lead with 7:01 to go in the second quarter ... A Jacquie Klotz trey tied it at 24-24 but Holy Cross went on a 12-3 to take a 36-27 lead into the break ... The Bison came back and chipped at the lead and a Klotz layup tied the game at 41-41 ... Freshman Kaitlyn Slagus then drilled a basket from three-point land to give Bucknell a 44-41 lead into the fourth ... The Crusaders came within three with 5:35 left, but it was the closest they would come the rest of the way as the Bison went on to remain as the only unbeaten team in the League at 4-0 with a 58-51 final score on Saturday at the Hart Center ... Klotz led the team to its fourth-straight Patriot League victory - the first time since 2001-02 season - with a double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds ... Junior Claire DeBoer also reached double-figures with 11 points ... Holy Cross was led by sophomore Infiniti Thomas-Waheed and sophomore Tricia Byrne, with each scoring 10 points ... Senior Molly Hourigan and junior Madelyn Ganser led the Crusaders with nine rebounds apiece.
*American/Lehigh - The Eagles held off a late rally by the Mountain Hawks in the fourth quarter to earn their second win of the Patriot League season with a 59-55 win on Saturday at Stabler Arena ... Lehigh's Jordan Elizabeth made a trey to give the home team a 9-8 advantage, but American's Ellina Koskimies made a trey of her ... AU maintained control the rest of the first quarter, which was capped off by a ridiculous half-court shot by Maria Liddane that was all net for an 18-11 lead ... The Eagles held a steady lead until the fourth quarter, when the Mountain Hawks began to make a comeback ... Down 52-36, Lexi Martins began a 19-5 ending with a Quinci Mann trey to come within two with 14 seconds on the clock, 57-55 ... A foul by Lehigh at 11 seconds put Liddane on the line, who converted both and gave the Mountain Hawks one last chance ... After making a clutch three-pointer earlier, Mann came up short knocking down another at six seconds and AU held the ball for the win ... Junior Lauren Crisler led the Eagles with 18 points, while Liddane posted 11, and freshman Cecily Carl had 10 along ... Crisler and Carl also led the team with nine rebounds each ... Martins posted her 12th double-double of the season with 17 points and 12 rebounds, while Mann finished with 14 points.
*Lafayette/Boston University - Both teams began the game, knowing one team would walk away with its first win of the Patriot League season ... It was the home team that prevailed and was backed by senior Jamie O'Hare who netted a team-high 19 points, becoming the 18 player in the Leopards' program history to reach 1,000 career points when she drained a pair of free throws with 1:38 left in the third quarter ... After the Terriers captured a one-point lead, 5-4, at 7:03 in the first quarter, but it was the last lead they would hold all day as Lafayette ran up the score to lead by as many as 21 in the third ... Along with O'Hare, freshman Alex Cantwell contributed career-highs of 17 points and seven assists, while junior Harriet Ottewill-Soulsby chipped in 10 points of her own as well as seven rebounds ... Junior Ashley Lutz pulled down a team-high 11 boards ... For Boston University, Kara Sheftic had a three blocks and a team-best 16 points along, while Sarah Hope contributed nine points of her own.
*Navy/Colgate - The Raiders jumped out to a quick 5-0 lead in the first quarter but back-to back treys from the Mids' Taylor Dunham and Sara Jones put Navy ahead and for good ... The Mids were able to hold Colgate to no more than 10 points in the first three quarters, helping them to a 51-41 victory over the Raiders on Saturday at Alumni Hall ... Navy's bench contributed 24 points, as opposed to Colgate's 11 and the Mids also had an advantage of 17 points off of turnovers to the Raiders' five ... Navy senior Peri Curtis registered her first career double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds to lead the team ... Sarita Condie contributed nine points of her own while Dunham pitched in eight ... Colgate's Josie Stockill also recorded a double-double, with 10 points and 11 rebounds, while Kateri Stone netted nine points.
The Patriot League slate will continue for all ten teams on Wednesday, Jan. 13 at 7 p.m.
